eVillage Committees

Each eVillage should form separate committees to see how each subject area can be explored and promoted in the village in a way ICT and English is used.

Each committee should have at least one monthly meeting in the school or anywhere else that suits to the subject area. Committee can be consisted of teachers, clergy, professionals in the respective fields, parents, youth, students and online volunteers. Committees can collect, translate, create and distribute content that is suitable for the stakeholders. Each committee can have a blog and a library to publish and store their content. School wallpapers, pamphlets, handbills, booklets, CDs, DVDs, etc. can be used for distributing the content among those who are interested. Each committee should raise funds for the expenses of the committee. The commits can explore new fund raising ideas. Each committee can have a year plan at the beginning of the year. The plan should contain both virtual and real activities each committee is supposed to do. The plan should work out in a way that work can be done individually and as small groups and the full committee. Continuous interaction with other committees and online community is encouraged. Committees should arrange and take part in events related to the subject areas.

At the end of each year the eVillage Center of each eVillage can conduct a competition to reward the best committees. With a dawn of a new year, the students and the youth should be changed their committees and new students and youth should be accommodated.  The rest of the members can be retained in the committee.

Center Manager can be an advisor to each committee when necessary.
